Chocolate Butter Cream Icing
2 sticks butter
3 c. powder sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. pure vanilla
3 Tbs. whipping cream
Cream butter until smooth and creamy. Add 1/2 cup of powder sugar at a time. Start on low speed then increase until well blended. Blend in sifted cocoa, blend well. Add vanilla and 1 Tbs. of cream at a time. (use your own judgement if you need more or less)
This is the perfect icing for your favorite yellow or white cake. It comes out smooth and creamy every time. Happy baking!
