Cream Cheese Brownie Recipe

3/4 c. veg. oil

1 1/2 c. granulated sugar

1 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla

3 lg. eggs

3/4 c. all-purpose flour

1/3 c. + 2 1/2 Tbs. cocoa

1/4 tsp. + 1/8 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. salt

Mix oil, sugar and vanilla, add eggs and mix well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in separate bowl. Slowly add to wet mixture. Set aside.


6 oz. cream cheese

5 Tbs. butter

1/3 c. granulated sugar

2 lg. eggs

2 Tbs. all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp. pure vanilla

Combine ingredients and mix well. Grease pan and add one half of the brownie mixture. Pour in cream cheese mixture then the rest of the brownie mixture. Swirl batter with a toothpick. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until a toothpick comes out clean. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or save for later with a tall glass of milk.
